Fear of success?

I was reading Steve Pavlina's blog... interesting, really interesting. Maybe i can argue against some points of view of him*, but i like that blog.

Now i was reading about being afraid of success. When you want to achieve a goal but you are not working hard to get it.

Look this little excerpt:

"when you (even unknowingly) avoid working on your goal because of a hidden fear of success, you actually reinforce the habit of procrastination, so as time goes by, it becomes harder and harder to get yourself to take action."

read the article here:

Fear of Success: What will happen if you succeed?

* Even if you are reading or hearing somebody who seems to be all right, keep your critical sense aware, you can't follow everything what other person says, you must to think about it before accept it...

Multitasking is not a good alternative

Two articles telling that multitasking is somehow good applied to computers but a very bad approach to human brain... and also a big loss applied to a company...

Your brain on multitasking

Multitasking Wastes Time and Money

A little excerpt:

"Companies that see multitasking as part of the solution to their staffing issues are actually making their problems worse and are not, finally, doing more with less. They are doing less with less."
